Did you know that there are IV nutrient therapy options in Tyler, Texas?

IV therapy allows you to directly receive core nutrients like Vitamin C, magnesium, calcium, B vitamins, and glutathione via an IV. With nutrient-rich IV therapy, you can achieve doses higher than what you would get with oral or injected nutrients. These high levels can be helpful in healing from a variety of conditions.

What is it like?

During IV nutrient therapy at IHM, you will be seated in a quiet, comfortable area and the IV is delivered with attention to your comfort. You may combine IV therapies with planned blood draws, so that when you have your blood drawn, you can immediately have an IV infusion to avoid another stick. Intravenous nutrients can be used on varying schedules and for short-term treatment or ongoing maintenance.

Are there different types of IV therapy?

Yes! Two of our most common IV therapies are Intravenous Vitamin C (IV C) and Myers’ Cocktail.

IV C supports recovery from chronic illness and immune dysfunction.

A Myers’ cocktail is an intravenous (IV) infusion containing magnesium, calcium, B vitamins, vitamin C, and glutathione. Myers’ cocktail has been known to help improve patients with asthma attacks, acute migraines, fatigue (including chronic fatigue syndrome), fibromyalgia, acute muscle spasm, upper respiratory tract infections, chronic sinusitis, and seasonal allergic rhinitis. A small number of patients with congestive heart failure, angina, chronic urticaria, hyperthyroidism, dysmenorrhea, or other conditions have shown marked improvement. Many relatively healthy patients choose to receive periodic injections because it enhances their overall well-being for periods of a week to several months.
