IHM Services during COVID-19

Hello IHM patients and supporters!

We hope you are all healthy and at peace. Right now, your #1 defense against COVID is social distancing. Your #2 defense is being healthy! We very much want to respect social distancing but feel now is a crucial time for functional medicine. We have been working hard to determine how best we can serve those who are staying at home for the time being and keep our wonderful staff employed until we are able to resume full services.

We have worked with our lab companies and are pleased to announce that we have a full panel of labs available for new and existing patients that can be performed 100% from their home during this time. We have a set of labs available that we can ship to your home, you can collect without any need for in-person assistance, and you may ship back.

Doctor and health coach visits are also available online thru a secure platform.

Beginning Monday, March 30th, we will begin scheduling patients for IVs, labs, and other services/appointments that require in-person visits. These appointments will be limited in availability and spaced out so there are very few patients in the clinic at a time.

If you do have an in-office appointment scheduled, you can expect a call from us before your appointment to see if you would like to move your visit to telemedicine. For those coming to the clinic, there are strict precautions we are taking to keep you and our staff safe. Before anyone can enter the clinic, they will be screened by being asked specific questions, their temperature will be taken, and they will be asked to put on a mask. It is critical that patients arrive on time for appointments so we can prevent multiple patients in the clinic at the same time.

Telemedicine is strongly encouraged for physician visits whenever possible to reduce the risk of possible exposure.

Your health and the health of our staff is priority. We are closely watching the local and national COVID-19 situation and will follow the recommendations and mandates from local, state and federal officials.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, we are offering the below additional services and education to help support you through this time:

• You can now submit topics you would like our physicians to discuss on our social medical videos (open to everyone, even if you’re not a patient) through a link. Submit your topic suggestion here.
• Online Mindfulness classes 2x/week via Zoom. These classes will occur on Monday’s at 12 noon beginning March 30 and Wednesday evenings at 6:30.

• Weekly videos from our physicians posted to our Facebook Page
• Daily Facebook LIVE events at 3pm hosted by our health coaches with encouragement, tips and advice to stay healthy during this time.

  • We are offering these at home labs 25% off for our members and 10% for new patients or non-members
• Telemedicine visits with your physician. These visits are available for new patients and established patients.
• Telemedicine visits with your health coach. These visits are available for new patients and established patients.
