Journey to Integrative Health Matters

Melissa was born and raised in Southeast Texas before moving to Tyler in 2020. She graduated from Lamar Institute of Technology in 2006. She has worked in various patient care settings including Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas, outpatient imaging, and the Dauphin Women’s Center with breast imaging in Beaumont, Texas before joining Integrative Health Matters. Melissa specializes in abdominal, OB/GYN, breast, and vascular ultrasounds.

Melissa loves how ultrasound is investigative and can be utilized in Functional Medicine to help find the root cause of various health issues.

Passions/ Interests

Melissa loves volunteering her time to help others learn about the Bible, traveling, and spending time with her family and two cats. In her free time, she enjoys taking walks in the sunshine and curling up with a good book.
