Medical Director

Dr. Carmen Keith felt called to be a doctor at the age of seven. She began this journey by attending the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Medicine, graduating with honors in research and then completing an anesthesia residency. After completing her residency, she was chosen as one out of 100 students to continue her education at Harvard Medical School, completing a fellowship in pain management at Massachusetts General Hospital. Following the fellowship, she became double board certified in anesthesiology and pain management through the American Board of Anesthesiology.

She began her career as Assistant Director of Pain Medicine, and after relocation, became Medical Director of a Pain Management Center that services a quad-state region. During her tenure as Medical Director, the center saw significant growth and found financial stability. Even with these accomplishments, she was not fulfilled in her calling to be a doctor. Something was missing.

After a time of intense self-reflection, Dr. Keith realized she was fulfilling her purpose of helping people, but her passion was to help people achieve health and wellness. She knew her practice had to change if she was to unite her purpose with her passion. Dr. Keith knew people had dreams of better health but had often lost hope of anything changing because nothing ever did. She wanted to provide a practice to help patients restore their hope to achieve their health dreams because she believes they are worth their health!

Dr. Keith knew furthering her education was important, so she became a Certified Institute of Functional Medicine Practitioner, training under the founders of the field. She wanted to identify the why behind the chronic diseases that plague so many in our society today. She is also Wellcoaches® trained, providing additional tools for working with you on your journey to health and wellness.
