Family Nurse Practitioner

Practical Experience

Adam Strawbridge, MSN, APRN, FNP-C was raised in Whitney, Texas, and always remembers having an interest in medicine. After becoming a registered nurse, Adam went on to earn an MSN and then became a certified nurse practitioner through the University of Texas at Arlington.

Journey to Integrative Health

Most of Adam’s experience is working in cardiac intensive care where he regularly saw firsthand the oftentimes preventable consequences of ignored disease and poor diet/lifestyle. During his medical training, Adam did rotations with a highly respected functional medicine physician in the DFW metroplex where he learned what functional medicine can do for patients. He was immediately hooked and could not stop reading and learning this root-cause approach to patient care. Adam now seeks to address and treat the root cause of his patients’ health concerns rather than just diagnosing and treating symptoms.

Passions and Interests

Adam strives to make a lasting difference in every patient’s health journey. He wants his patients to feel empowered when teaching them about how food, physical activity, and lifestyle can often be their medicine. He wants his patients to take an interest in their health and know that he is there to help guide them. Adam doesn’t believe in shortcuts, but rather investments to improve a lasting quality of life.
Adams enjoys spending time with his wife and two dogs. He takes every opportunity he can to be outdoors, especially camping. Adam’s favorite quote is from Thomas A. Edison, “The doctor of the future will give no medication but will interest his patients in the care of the human frame, diet, and in the cause and prevention of disease”.
