Education and Experience
Raised in rural Ohio, Lisa has a great love for the outdoors. After high school, Lisa experienced life in a different culture in South Korea. After returning to the US, she followed one of her childhood dreams and joined the United States Army. Lisa was trained as a combat medic at Ft Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas and went on to serve with the 563rd ASB 159 CAB and 3-187 Infantry “Rakkasans” of the 101st Airborne Division. Lisa served in Operation Enduring Freedom to Bagram, Afghanistan in 2014.
After her service, Lisa began the journey toward her BSN at the University of Texas at Tyler and looks forward to graduation. Before joining IHM, while in school, she has worked as a CAN and as a MST.
Lisa enjoys fresh air and sunshine to remind her how blessed she is to be afforded this life. She loves spending time with her family and her four dogs on her family farm. She is an avid lover of adventure and is always open to new exciting experiences.
